Thanks in advance for your generosity!
We are monitoring the COVID situation closely with the City of Hondo, TX Department of Health Services and Center for Disease Control. Pending further guidance, Medina Senior Center will be CLOSED to all activities and social gatherings until further notice to keep our members and the Medina County community safe; we will provide updates as frequently as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience, support and encouragement during this time of uncertainty.
Meals on Wheels Medina County will continue to provide home delivered meals.
In order to protect everyone and reduce contact with and among our senior population, dining at our Hondo and Devine congregate centers will be temporarily suspended, but we will provide take-away meals Monday-Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Please call the Medina Senior Center Office at (830) 741-6160 by 9:00 the morning you would like to pick up a meal.
Meals on Wheels Medina County will continue to be delivered weekly. Deliveries will be made in a non-contact fashion for the safety of our seniors and volunteers. If you are 60 or older, homebound, or recovering from an illness and need a nutritious meal, please call (830) 741-6160.
We welcome a donation of $5.50 per meal for those 60 and over. If you are under 60, the recommended donation is $6.00 per meal.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you back at the Center in the near future! If you have any questions, please call (830) 741-6160.
WHY MEALS ON WHEELS ?
